History

Plant Description
The plant is climber with bristly stem and toothed leaves. The male and
female flower grows in clusters.
The leaves are opposite and are palmately lobed blade 12 to 25 cm, with
a 7 to 12 cm petiole and coarsely toothed from edges..
The young shoots grow rapidly and growth can reach 20 to 50 cm per week.
Cultivation
Hops are widely cultivated in Europe and northern Asia, with the times
propagation of this herbaceous plant spread to other parts of the world.
Commercially hops is being produced in china, Australia, Czech republic,
France, Germany, north Korea, Poland, UK, and USA.
The plant bears flowers in July-august and the fruit ripens in
September-October.
